Detailed Itinerary
7 Days/ 6 Nights
Day 01: Vienna
Arrive Vienna and transfer on own to your hotel. In the afternoon you will go for a city tour. Drive along the famous 'Ringstrasse', past the State Opera and the Parliament building before heading to Schonbrunn Palace to view some of the most magnificently decorated rooms. Overnight in Vienna.
Day 02: Vienna
Day at leisure. You can also take an optional tour to the nearby Vienna Woods. Overnight in Vienna
Day 03: Vienna – Salzburg (2.30 hours)
Take the train to Salzburg and transfer on own to your hotel. Rest of the afternoon free to explore this city. Visit the Mirabell gardens and palace, the birthplace of Mozart and Getreidegasse, Salzburg's elegant shopping street. Overnight in Salzburg.
Day 04: Salzburg
Today you will follow the footsteps of the VonTrapp family made popular in the movie The Sound of Music. Visit the historical sites where the movie was filmed - Hellbrunn Castle, Nonnberg Abbey and the Mondsee Cathedral. Overnight in Salzburg.
Day 05: Salzburg - Zell am See (1.40 hours)
Take the train to Zell am See one of Austria’s most beautiful holiday regions. Visit Mount Kitzsteinhorn, the only glacier in the province of Salzburg and visit the Tauern Spa to relax in the saunas, steam baths or pools. Overnight in Zell am See.
Day 06: Zell am See – Innsbruck (1.50 hours)
Take the train to Innsbruck and make your way to your hotel. Use your Innsbruck Card to hop on to the Crystal World shuttle and visit the famous Swarovski Crystal World. You can also use your card to travel on the Sightseer Hop-On Hop-Off bus. Overnight in Innsbruck.
Day 07: End of Tour
Make your way to either Munich, Zurich or Vienna airport or continue your stay on your own.
