Detailed Itinerary
4 Days/ 3 Nights
Day 01 - Beijing Arrival
We will pick you up at the airport or train station and then drop you off at your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 02 - Go Sightseeing in Beijing Downtown (lunch)
Pick you up from your hotel, then visit The Tian’anmen Square whose name literally means “Gate of Heavenly Peace” , and which witnessed the foundation of the People’s Republic of China and several important events in Chinese history and visit The Forbidden City, which are located in the center of the city with more than 600 years-history. This palace is an example of ancient Chinese architecture.
Scenic spots: 1. The hall and the courtyard of supreme harmony, 2. The meridian gate, 3. the hall of supreme harmony, 4. the hall of complete harmony, 5. the hall of preserving harmony, 6. the huge of stone carving, 7. the hall of union, 8. the palace of earthly tranquility, 9. the imperial garden, etc.
After Chinese lunch, you will visit Beijing Hutong at Shichahai Scenic Area, where you will visit the Beijing old lanes by rickshaws and explore traditional Chinese quadrangles to get to know local life.
Then you will visit Temple of Heaven, which is a complex of religious buildings where the emperors came every winter solstice to worship heaven and to solemnly pray for a good harvest. Built about 600 years ago.
Scenic spots: the hall of prayer for good harvest, the imperial vault of heaven, echo wall, the circular mound altar, etc.
Special Gift In the evening, select a show you are interested in (Peking Opera or Acrobatic or Chinese Kongfu).
Day 03 - Visit the Great Wall and Ming Tomb (lunch)
Pick up from your hotel, and then drive to Mutianyu or Badaling Great Wall (You can choose Badaling or Mutianyu section, No extra fees), the Great Wall is one of the most magnificent sections of the Great Wall. Since the Great Wall has become a national icon of China, whoever come to China would visit it. It is one of the greatest man-made wonders over the world. It was built as an ancient military defense project which was actually worked in the history.
Optional Cable Car you can choose hike the wall or take a cable car to the top of the wall.
Scenic spots: Badaling fortress, beacon-towers, "looking-toward Beijing stone", etc.
After lunch, you will visit Dingling Tomb, which is the only tomb of the thirteen Ming Tombs to be excavated. Buried here are three individuals; Emperor Wan-li (died 1620), Empress Wang (died 1620), and another Empress Wang (died 1611). And then go to The Sacred Road. The road is guarded on both sides with stone statues by which the ancient emperors went to hold a memorial ceremony for the ancestors. On the way back to the downtown, you will have a short exterior visit of the Olympic Stadiums-Bird's Nest and Water Cube. If you want to go inside, you have to buy the tickets.

Day 04 - Visit Summer Palace and Departure
Pick you up from your hotel, and then you will visit the Summer Palace, the largest and best-preserved royal garden in China. The mountains, waters and architecture together form picturesque scenes that are amazingly beautiful. UNESCO declared the Summer Palace “a masterpiece of Chinese landscape garden design".
Scenic spots: East palace gate, the hall of benevolence and longevity, hall of jade billows, the hall of joyful longevity, the covered walkway, the marble boat, etc.
In the afternoon, we will transfer you to Beijing airport or Beijing train station.
